Stephanie has practiced law for more than 25 years and specializes in estate planning. She believes everyone needs an estate plan and takes pride in helping Virginia families protect what they’ve built, at every stage of life.

Stephanie is a member of the bars in Virginia and Washington, D.C. She is also a seasoned litigator with experience in complex commercial contract litigation, government contracts, and construction law, and in negotiating and drafting commercial contracts.

Stephanie grew up in Louisiana and around the world with her military family. She attended the University of Miami and the University of Nebraska at Omaha before meeting her husband, a proud Navy man, and settling in Virginia. She earned her law degree from George Washington University School of Law, where she served as Executive Notes Editor of the International Law Review. After more than a decade as a litigator, she co-founded Blue Star Families, an influential nonprofit that supports military families. She now lives in the Hampton Roads area with her husband and three boys, expanding the firm’s practice across the Commonwealth.

Stephanie believes strongly in giving back and is an active volunteer. She serves on the Virginia State Bar District 2 Disciplinary Committee, investigating complaints of attorney misconduct and ethical violations. She is also secretary of the Hampton Roads chapter of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association, sits on the Programming Committee for the Hampton Roads Estate Planning Council, and is a member of the Chesapeake Task Force on Aging. She has also served as president and in other board roles for her children’s swim clubs, PTA, the band booster club, and as contracts chair for the Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach.

In her spare time, Stephanie serves as a stroke and turn official for USA Swimming, the Virginia High School League, the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association, and the Virginia Beach Swim
