July is National Parks and Recreation Month, and I love seeing our Country’s treasures! I used to really enjoy nerding out and getting a stamp in my National Park Passport every time I visited a new park. This summer, there’s no better time to celebrate the natural beauty, history, and cultural richness of our nation's public lands. Whether you're enjoying an afternoon stroll on the National Mall or walking the geyser studded trails of Yellowstone, America’s parks offer something for everyone.
Right here in Northern Virginia, we’re lucky to be surrounded by some of the most iconic and inspiring national park sites in the country. Spend a summer day exploring the National Mall, where monuments and memorials tell the story of our shared history.

Guiding the Next Generation of Attorneys

I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer for the Fairfax Bar Association's Court Tour program. Guiding 8th grade students from Whitman Middle School throughout the Fairfax County Courthouse, I and another attorney got to show students what happens in the courtroom and meet with two Circuit Court judges. It was inspiring to see their genuine interest in becoming an attorney, and I hope that I played a role in making the law more friendly.
